Hungry Bekah

I took this video of Bekah a week ago, when she was just so hungry she was trying to eat her fist!! I love her little baby sounds.. so fun! She also hates her tummy time, so that's another reason she could be annoyed.. :)

Good Girl Mommy!

I just love toddlers!
Today as Leah and I spent some time outside weeding my strawberry beds, Leah watched as I pulled all the weeds "yucky plants", and threw them on the grass. She watched me work for a while, and then came over softly, put her hand on my shoulder and said "Good Girl Mommy!"
Well, at least all I do doesn't go unnoticed, even by my 2 year old!!!

Family Visit

Josh's family came for a visit 2 weeks ago, and this was the first time everyone but Grandma got to see Rebekah! It was a very nice visit, great dinner and of course, fun pictures!! They will be coming to camp here over Memorial Day, so we are very excited to see them again, for longer!

Toddlers.. so fun!! (and funny!)

This last week, I was painting my toenails and Leah saw me and was very curious what I was doing. Then she indicated she wanted "Pity-Toes" too.. (Pretty toes) and so I took her little toenails and I painted them!! She LOVED it and walks around all day looking at her feet, and showing everyone her pretty toes!

Mom and Leah's Pretty Toes!

Leah.. and her "smile"

Also this week, I went in one morning to change Leah's diaper after she had just woken up, and placed Rebekah on the changing table next to her, as they both were awake. Bekah cooed at Leah, and Leah giggled. I said "Did Bekah talk to you?" she said "Yeah" "What did she say?" I asked. Leah looked at me then said "Meemee" which is Leah for "Excuse me" I laughed and laughed over that one. :)

Mother's Day '08.. my 2 beautiful girls!

This Mother's Day I was blessed to have the best present of all.. getting to go back to church with my family!!! We had been waiting until Bekah got the "Ok" from her doctor, and we recovered from our colds, which happened to coincide on the same week.. Mother's Day weekend! I was so happy to be back, and that people who had prayed for us got to see our little Rebekah! It was a happy Mother's Day for me!

We all got dressed up and I took pictures of the girls after church.. it was too much to ask to get ANOTHER family picture.. (Josh HATES pictures.. :) (Plus I love the ones we just did) these shots are so cute.. I just love having girls to dress up!! So fun!!! Enjoy my little sweeties...

Sisterly Love

New Bekah Pics!

Well, Bekah turns 2 months old in a few days!!! ( How did that happen?) She was just weighed yesterday and came in at a whopping 8 lbs 13 oz and measures 21" long!!! I know she is still so tiny, but she definately is big to us, having started out so small! She is doing so well at home, and even managed to skip getting a cold when all of us were sick last week! Yay! She is very expressive with her smiles, and gives me lots of "stare" looks! She also is very good at holding her head up, and is trying to learn to roll over! She's really progressing!

Here is our little sweetie at (almost) 2 months old

Here is her "stare" I told you about!

Sweet outift from the Berges!

This is my smily, happy girl.. :)

My Savings this week...

I got everything pictured here for the grand total of $1.82!!!!!!!
There are times I just love Wal-Greens.. like this week with their killer RR deals!! The tea was another Freebie deal from Target, and as it ends today I had to stock up again! I would have taken advantage of the great P&G RR deal at Wal-Greens as well, but wouldn't you know it, my Wal-greens was out of the majority of it. What a bummer! Well, still a great deal for us this week!

Look-Alikes!!

Looking back through my family's baby pictures, to see who Bekah resembles.. we came across these pictures!!! They are IDENTICAL to our Rebekah!!! I'll give you one guess who this little baby girl is.. :)

Guess who it is yet?

ah, you can do it!

This is our Rebekah...
Give up? The first two pictures are baby pictures of my sister Anna! They are sooooooo alike aren't they? Very fun... Leah looked just like me at birth, and Rebekah looks like Anna. My mom is getting scared.. it's like she's back 22 years ago, looking at her two girls! (Anna and I) Funny how that works huh?

Praise God for Insurance!!!

Today was that blessed day... the day I recieved Rebekah's "bill" for her birth, time spent in the NICU and medical expenses. (Excluding the Helicopter ride and my birth expenses.. they should still be coming.. :)

The Grand Total came to : (drum roll please)........ $30, 798.00 !!!!

Price breakdown: $22,000 for her hospital stay
$8,798 for medical expenses

And to think our insurance covered EVERY penny!!! We won't have to pay anything!
Wow! I am in awe of how God has blessed us! Amazing!!!

New Sister Pics

Leah asks all day if she can "hode it" (hold it) (meaning baby Rebekah) and here are some cute pictures of the two of them from Leah's latest loving opportunity!
